Alan Ruck is an American actor who plays Dr. Hood on Eureka. He is probably still best remembered as Cameron Frye, the hero's best friend in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, although he has played a wide range of roles, from co-starring in Spin City to being the captain of the Enterprise-B on the big screen in Star Trek: Generations.
