Edward James Olmos is an American actor who provides the one-off voice of Rudy the Sled Dog on Eureka. He is probably best known to SF fans as William Adama in the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica. He has portrayed numerous authority figures in the twenty-first century, including a Latino Supreme Court Justice on The West Wing, and the leader of the 'real S.H.I.E.L.D.' on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
